Welcome to KARE Social Services and Dublin North Bay Citizens Information Service. KARE was established in 1965 to support families especially those who look after an older relative and to assist vulnerable older people living alone. This is done by providing home help and meals on wheels services. These services enable older people to live as independently and as safely as possible in their own homes.

The catchment area for providing the home help and meals on wheels services is Killester, Artane, Raheny and Edenmore in North Dublin. KARE staff and volunteers are dedicated and committed to providing home help, meals on wheels and citizens information in a friendly, impartial and independent manner. KARE is a voluntary organisation which is funded both by private donations and state funding.
