About Us
KARE is an Irish company limited by guarantee not having a share capital (Company No. 336556). It is a registered charity Charity No CHY 7600 and complies with all statutory legislation. It is governed by a Board of Directors who represent the community, legal, financial, IT and HR sectors.
Staff has qualifications commensurate with the positions they fill. All staff has Garda Clearance. Volunteers fill positions as Meals on Wheels drivers, Information officers, clerical officers, kitchen staff and offer administrative support.
KARE's main function is to provide home help, meals on wheels and citizens information. KARE also supports local groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous. KARE's work is carried out in an independent and impartial manner.
